| Yes, the above picture is correct. The Tin Angel shares its address with the eclectic dining experience, Serrano. Serrano is on the first floor and the Tin Angel is on the second floor. If you notice in the above picture, the Tin Angel
insignia is on a small sign above the Serrano marquee and on the front entrance.
The Tin Angel is one of the best places in the city to see a live acoustic performance. Granted the seated portion of the room holds only about 50 people, there really isn't a bad seat in the house. In spite of it's close quarters and low seating capacity, the Tin Angel has attracted such names as local heroes Jeffrey Gaines & Huffamouse, Freedy Johnson (sang "Bad Reputation"), Marshall Crenshaw and Richie Havens. The best part about seeing these great acts is that tickets are typically only $10 a piece. For the national acts ticket prices are a little higher but hardly ever costing more than $20. The trick to getting a good seat at the Tin Angel is to place dinner reservations at Serrano. While you place your reservations, tell them that you want to see the live act upstairs at the Tin Angel. This should guarantee you a table in the front row. If you're just going for the live music, be sure to show up a good half hour before the show, otherwise you'll be lined up on the stairs waiting to be seated. Another nice aspect of the Tin Angel is that after the show you can head over to one of the many other Olde City establishments which are a few footsteps away.
