One thing not mentioned in your review is the food at Bridgid's. It is not only a great mix of fun stuff and generous portions, the highest price on the menu for dinner is usually about $14. They always have cool appetizers, unique entrees that match nicely with the beer (try the Cajun Bluefish and a peach Lambik)and a FABULOUS dessert tray (the creme brulee is the best). Our bar bill is always more than our food and we always leave VERY happy!!

Great food but even better Belgian beers. The duck in peppercorn sauce is to die for. You can have a complete dinner or get a sandwhich at the bar. There must be dozens of Belgian beers, some on tap others in bottles. The beers sre not cheap but they are Belgian so it is to be expected. Parking is impossible, after all, it's Fairmount. But the food and beer is worth it.

Prepared piping hot on a server in a van down by the river
