Great Bar. The bouncer there is not the coolest thing going. I think he hates me. I've been there a bunch of times and every time he cards me. And by card I mean take my id, go over it with a flashlight for over thirty seconds and give it back. I know he knows who I am and is wait for the chance that I don't have my id and he can throw me out. But all in all it's one of my favorite bars. |

If you've never been to Ireland, but wonder what the pubs are like, go here on an off night. Not Friday, full-of-yuppie-night. If you've been to Ireland and are yearning to be in a real Irish pub again, same advice. Sundays here with free, authentic traditional Irish music are the best...you forget you're in America. The food is authentic and wonderful and the beer....oh, the Guinness! It's the best pour in the City. This place is a gem and a definite don't-miss. |

This is one of the great undiscovered pubs in the city. Be sure to order the "CHOWDER" no matter what time of the day or night. The later the better! Chowda at 1AM is a good warm up before heading out into a cold Philly winter night. |
