beer taps, play games, hang out on their patio, hit
their disco (The Groove Shack), have stir-fry prepared
right before your eyes or grab a snack.

($$)! That just means that they have a menu of
these mini-meals called tapas. Don't worry, there are
larger things on the menu. The swanky atmosphere,
candles on the walls and cool tables and chairs
provide a nice atmosphere for "getting to know
one another" in a biblical sense. As the
night goes on they usually bring in a DJ to spin
records for dancing. Hey dinner and dancing in one
place - gotta love that.

ok, before you get all over us for choosing
Rock Bottom ($$),
a brewpub
in a mall, take it easy. Women like to shop. Just
accept it. But at the end of the shopping spree, Rock
Bottom is the perfect detour off the mall for a good home brew.

Anyone?

over to Jack's
Firehouse ($$$) in the Fairmount
section of Philly and dine on exotic delicacies as
ostrich, roast buffalo and venison. On weekend nights,
you're likely to run into a live jazz quartet.
Afterwards, head down the street to London
($) for a nitecap.
