What I’d Do To Improve the Place:

The place gets pretty dead when there isn't a live act playing.

Outdoor deck in the back, but it's small and it overlooks the parking lot. Where's the attraction?

If you're not looking for it, you may wind up passing Cunningham's Court by. As you can see from the photo above, its subtle appearance may make you think the place is either just another restaurant or a frat house (check out the neon beer swag in the top windows).

Cunningham's Court is owned by ex-76er coach and player: Billy Cunningham. As a result, the walls are jam-packed with celebrity pictures, basketball player photo's (current and yesteryear) and general basketball memorabilia. If you are a fan of the sport of basketball, you could probably spend a good hour or so looking at all of the pictures, and soaking in all of the memories.

The basic layout of Cunningham's Court is quite simple: a large square bar (seats about 30) occupies the middle of the establishment, and tables/chairs butt up against the walls. If you look up, the ceiling is comprised of many different wood doors that blend together to create an interesting effect.

The taps at Cunningham's Court are nicely represented by Boddington's, Yards, Yuengling Lager, Bass, Harp, Guinness, as well as a few others.

There is also an upstairs area, but it's fairly small.  If you're into drinking under the stars, Cunningham's has an outdoor deck. The only downside to the deck is that it doesn't have anything to overlook, so you're stuck with either looking up at the Big Dipper or conversing with your mates/dates - whichever is applicable.

On the particular night that we visited, there was no live act playing. As a result, the crowd was primarily in their 40's. Although there were a handful of 20 & 30 somethings knocking back the quality swill. On nights were there are live musical acts, the crowd becomes primarily post-college age.

One disadvantage to Cunningham's is that it is all by it's lonesome here in West Conshohocken. The closest bars are a short drive over the Schuylkill River. Once on that side of the river you can visit: The Great American Pub and The Boathouse.  Sadly, they won't have any B-Ball memorabilia at either places, but you're young, you'll get over it.
