What I’d Do To Improve the Place:

This is such a neat place that I only wish that it were bigger. Hey, who knows, maybe one of these days, Dave and Buster's will buy out the Skater Park, next door and expand their video game area or add a new attraction.

Rising up from the remains of the old Spiegel Outlet is the newest entertainment complex to hit  Franklin Mills Mall and Northeast Philadelphia. I like this place because it's like a humongous Chuck E. Cheese for adults but without the big annoying chipmunk suit.

At Dave and Buster's you have 3 restaurants, a 20 lane bowling alley, 10 pool tables, cigar bar, an arcade (with all of those fancy-schmancy virtual reality games), ping pong tables, 3 huge bars and, soon to be added, The Love Shack (a dance bar). Once in Dave and Buster's you have free roam of the place. Go nuts, grab a drink and a cigar and wander from room to room like you own the place. During the daytime, some people bring their kids to take part in the fun, but after 9PM it's the over-21 crowd only.

The pool tables are "the sh*t." They're the big-ass Brunswicks, with wood ornamentation and felts so smooth you could land a leer jet on them.  No need to walk 50 yards to the closest bar, there are 2 waitresses who patrol the billiards area making sure that you never see the bottom of your glass. As if this wasn't enough, there are 6 TV's hanging around the billiards area showing a variety of sporting events. The pool tables get fairly crowded on the weekend, so it's probably a good idea to reserve a table at the front desk, when you enter the place.

The bowling alley has it's own bar and DJ spinning Top 40 tunes. At the end of the bowling lanes are 10 big screen TV's that constantly flash retro images from the 60's and 70's and from time to time show scenes from famous movies or music videos. Like the Billiards area, the bowling alleys have their own waitresses or if you are feeling feisty, the bar is only about 20 feet away from any lane.

Regardless of where you are in Dave and Buster's,  you can order from the kitchen and one of the beautiful waitresses will bring you your grub. There are 3 "sit-down" restaurants at Dave and Buster's. One restaurant has the "sports theme" happening and is surrounded by about 40 big screen (60 inchers) TV sets that are recessed into the walls showing all varieties of sporting events. Who says size doesn't matter? Another restaurant is located outside if you are in the mood to dine al fresco.

The last sit down eating area is something called the Hibachi Grill where a chef prepares your dinner right in front of you, no joke. Your table is U shaped, there is a grill in the center that the chef works over. Better plan for about a 2 hour dinner if you choose to dine here.  I didn't like this set-up because they cook your side items first, then 20 minutes later you're served your entree. This way of preparing your food, makes half your dish cold while you wait for the remaining for to be cooked. The chefs need to cook the side veggies and entrees all at once, that way everything is piping hot when dinner is served.

Virtually any type of alcoholic beverage is available here. They have a vast array of imported and domestic beers, as well as all of the top shelf liquor you can handle. I've been to this place 3 times already and the staff has been extremely helpful and nice. On the weekends, Dave and Buster's often has a live band playing either in the Sports bar or in the cigar bar. And you can enjoy this for no cover charge. Whooo Hooo!

I only wish the Franklin Mills Dave and Buster's was bigger. I'd like to see a wall of dart boards added and a few more games in the arcade. Sure bowling is fun, but the rented shoes scare the bejesus out of me.

I'd recommend this place to anyone, it has a little something for everyone.  I can't wait to return and check out The Love Shack when it's operational.

PROS:
Plenty of parking.

Something for everyone to do: golf, billiards, bowling, video games, skeeball, dance club, outside patio & decent grub all under one roof. They live up to their motto of "Eat, Drink, Play."

Waitresses/Hostii are HOT. Wearing those tight white Tees, the place should be called Dave and Bustin' Out's

CONS:
I'd like to see a little more space here. There never seem to be enough pool tables and floor space for virtual reality games. What can I say, I dig these games.

Bathrooms are located in one corner of the building. If you're out on the patio, it's a hike to the bathrooms especially when the brewski's are flowin'.
